This week we caught up with VIP Member, Flight Attendant and Influencer, Sarah Ivell...
How long have you been blogging and what motivated you to start?
On and off, I've been blogging for 7 years now! I originally started blogging in 2013, after reading other blogs and wanting to write my own. I was 16 and my blog was called "Sarah's Beauty Emporium" where I shared reviews on my favourite beauty products. This later changed to "Loved by Sarah" as I started to cover a wider range of topics. I then had a break from it, but I'm now back and focus primarily on Instagram.
What has been your biggest challenge so far?
Juggling work alongside creating content! The main reason I had a break from blogging was because I was working 6 days a week at the time at my previous job. Now I've got more time it's a lot easier for me, but creating good, varied content can often be hard. I'd rather put good content out than something out just for the sake of it.
What's a typical day like for you?
I'm a flight attendant so usually I'd be on a plane, jetting to places all over Europe and beyond. At the moment I am grounded due to Covid-19 so have been volunteering to help the NHS instead. Around volunteering/flying I spend a lot of my time on instagram - creating content, editing my photos and of course sharing them. I often feel like there are not enough hours in the day, but I wouldn't have it any other way - I hate being bored!
Finally, if you had one piece of advice to give to other aspiring influencers, what would it be?
Be yourself and have confidence in yourself - don't worry about what other people think of you. Keep slaying life!
